WorldCat Discovery Tutorials & Information

WorldCat Discovery allows you to access your library account and act on items. 

  1. From WorldCat Discovery, click Sign In in the upper right corner of the screen to login to your library account. Once you have logged in your name with appear at the top.
  2. Select the option for Tusculum Students, Faculty, and Staff.
    1. For Students, you will sign in with your "" log in credentials
    2. For Faculty and Staff, you will sign in with your institution email credentials
  3. Select the My Account drop-down menu. The options available for account review are Checked Out, Requested, Fees, Saved Items, Saved Lists, and Borrowing History.

By signing into your Discovery account, you will have access to a number of tools to help with your research needs. To find out more, please watch the Tutorial Video under the Tutorial tab on this page.

You can log into your WorldCat Discovery account by clicking "Sign in" at the top right of the Discovery page. Then select to sign in as "Tusculum Students, Faculty, and Staff".

Students will log into their Discovery Library Account using their "" login credentials.

While Faculty and Staff will use their institution credentials.

When prompted to log in with OpenAthens, select to log in as "Student" or "Faculty/ Staff" and enter your university credentials.

Students should choose the Student option and login with your TU Canvas login, faculty and staff should choose the Faculty/ Staff login and use your TU email login.

If you are locked out of your account after multiple attempts, please contact Information Systems to reset your password ( or 423-636-7346). If resetting your password does not work, please contact the library ( or 423-636-7320).
